We are currently hiring an office assistant in Lillooet. The office assistant will be cross trained to work reception, help with eye tests & medical records, and insurance billing.

Lillooet Sea to Sky Optometry is hiring a full-time office assistant at our new location in Lillooet, BC. This new team member at Lillooet Sea to Sky Optometry will be available to help deliver excellent patient experience from the moment the patient calls our office, checking them in for their appointment, and booking appropriate follow up care. You will have the exciting opportunity to develop strong community relationships and build your dream career in this exciting health care field. Sea to Sky Optometry is currently growing our second location in Lillooet. There is opportunity learn new roles in the business and offer mobile optometry clinics to remote communities. How to be a successful candidate:

- Experience in a health care setting is an asset. Focus on accuracy, strong computer skills, active listening skills, and problem solving. Comfortable with sales, invoicing, billing insurance and taking payments.

Duties

- Receptionist – patient experience specialist to ensure our patients feel cared throughout their entire visit

- Answering phone calls, following up with messages

Patient emails

- Booking appointments & scheduling

- Appointment check in / check out

- Billing patients and insurance companies

- Intake forms

- helping with testing and examination notes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
