Description

Interior Health has an opportunity for a casual Combined Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist - CLXT in Lillooet, BC. If you have successfully completed a recognized Combined Lab/X-Ray CLXT program and would enjoy everything in this gentle paced and rural lifestyle, then we would love to hear from you!

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call bases and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absences. Shift types are days, Monday to Friday, with the shift times being 08:30 to 16:30.

What Will You Work On?
The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. The CLXT also performs routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoots equipment problems as required.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program.
  • Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
  • One year of general experience in laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
