Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. This is a full time employment on a large cattle ranch in BC's South central interior. Good cowman-ship and horse skills required. Duties include range riding, calving, fencing, pasture management, winter feeding and general ranch duties. Feed production, general farming skills and mechanical inclination an asset.
Responsibilities
-
construction, maintenance and repair/rebuild of all types of fencing to acceptable standards.

construction, maintenance and repair of all fence line feeders, gates, corrals, livestock handling facilities.

general yard maintenance as needed and instructed.

help as requested with field work, cropping, farming, irrigating, water management duties, haying and other ranch chores as required

help with winter feeding, calving-out assigned herd, record-keeping, sorting, weaning, branding, shipping, processing, record keeping and all general duties related to livestock management.

service and maintenance of ranch vehicles and equipment.
